Crestani Communications
Detailed Information

Crestani – New Zealand’s only full-service communications and engagement agency.

Since 2009, we’ve been helping organisations bring communities with them on projects, having difficult conversations and making sure locals get their say on what’s planned in their backyard. We get out from behind the desk and go to where the community is, whether that means having a chat with a landowner affected by roadworks or holding a series of pop-up events at halls and markets to get a whole town’s views on changes to speed limits.

We have the people to do this. Our team of community engagement specialists are spread across New Zealand, ready to talk to stakeholders and the public on your behalf. They’re backed by a head office with the skills to manage everything from communications strategy to designing fliers to managing online consultation.

Why you need us

We’re the people to talk to about any project that is going to affect a community. More than ever, it’s important that you bring people with you. New Zealanders have greater expectations than ever about having their say, and rightly so. Social media also makes it very easy for them to let you know when they’re unhappy, and when there’s enough noise online, you can be sure that the mainstream media won’t be too far behind.

Crestani will take the temperature of the community whether it’s a few stakeholders or a whole town. We use these insights to help you bring them with you, getting a result that works for everyone.

What we do

We have a track record of delivery. Our team has given strategic communications advice on thorny issues, designed and delivered communications strategies and organised events.

As part of the Safe Roads Alliance, we’ve provided all aspects of communication and stakeholder management to a $600m nationwide programme of road safety improvements. This has included gathering the views of communities and stakeholders about how their roads could be safer, and then taking them along on each step of the project right through to construction.

Our people on the ground lead these conversations and front events. We support this with advertising and media (including social), quality collateral and event planning – all done in-house. We use CRM to record feedback, and Social Pinpoint which makes it easy for people to have their say online. Both mean we have access to a snapshot of stakeholder and community sentiment at any time.

Let’s talk

You might not need our help just yet, you might have needed it yesterday. Let’s have a chat about what you’re doing, and whether it’s something we can help you with. There’s no obligation – we know not everything needs engagement, but when it does we make it easy.
