Calling for Expressions of Interest for Code of Ethics Review Committee
Kia ora koutou,
The PRINZ Executive Committee and management are calling for Expressions of Interest from members who would like to be part of a sub-committee to review the PRINZ Code of Ethics.
Our Code of Ethics underpins professional standards, public trust, and the way our industry is viewed and valued. This review will ensure it remains relevant, practical, and reflective of the realities of our profession today.
We welcome interest from members who bring thoughtful judgement, professional experience, and a commitment to ethical practice. Participation offers a meaningfully opportunity to contribute to the future direction and integrity of our association and industry.
In addition, PRINZ is seeking to appoint an independent Chair to lead the sub-committee. This is a leadership role focused on guiding robust discussion, ensuring balanced perspectives, and steering the review process to a clear and credible outcome. The Chair does not need to be a member of PRINZ. Further details on this role are available here.
The anticipated time commitment for sub-committee members and the Chair is approximately 40–50 hours over 6 months, inclusive of meetings, preparation, drafting, canvassing other members for relevant feedback and reviewing best-practice Codes of Ethics from comparable associations both locally and internationally as part of the review process.
If you are interested in being considered as a sub-committee member, or to nominate or suggest a potential Chair, please email susanne@prinz.org.nz by Saturday 7th March 2026 with a brief outline of relevant experience and any supporting information.
Ngā mihi,
Susanne Martin
CEO – PRINZ
