Led by professional director and PRINZ Life Member Tracey Bridges, this short course answers all your questions about how to work well with Boards, and – for those who are interested – how to move into a governance career. It will touch on key aspects of Governance practice. It will comprise a presentation and plenty of time for questions, answers and discussion.
Are you a seasoned PR professional or an emerging leader looking to expand your industry horizons?
PRINZ is excited to bring this fresh, informal networking initiative back for 2026. It is designed to spark meaningful conversations and build lasting connections across our diverse membership. We intitially launched this programme in Auckland and now we are piloting the programme in Wellington as well.
Reputation, risk and ethics are not separate conversations. They never have been and, in our AI-infused operating environment, they are now visibly inseparable. This session starts from that reality.
For PR professionals, the skills of key stakeholder management are different from stakeholder audience communications. The interpersonal strategies, tactics and skills that make-up key stakeholder engagement are specific and crucial for success. From prioritising stakeholders to the psychology of influence and skills of active listening and the behavioural drivers of trust, this workshop includes completing a live stakeholder engagement plan and will equip you to immediately lift your key stakeholder engagement.
In a world where everyone’s clamouring for “data-driven” insights, this course goes beyond the numbers. It’s about learning to think critically, interpret evidence wisely, and make sound, ethical decisions in your PR practice. You’ll explore how to balance data with judgement, recognise cognitive bias (in yourself and others), and turn information from multiple sources into meaningful, defensible insights. We’ll cover practical tools for interpreting results, testing assumptions, and reporting outcomes (without losing sight of people, context, or purpose).
For the third year running, we’ve teamed up with our principal partner, Isentia, to bring you the latest insights into Aotearoa’s PR landscape.
