Happy New Year!
I hope you enjoyed a refreshing break or if you worked through, have one coming up shortly.
January kicks off with the call for entries for the 2022 PRINZ Awards.
The annual PRINZ Awards are our industry’s most high-profile way to highlight the breadth of public relations practice and showcase the work that makes a difference to our organisations, our clients, and our stakeholders. Take this opportunity to gain recognition by entering the PRINZ Awards. More information and entry forms can be found here. Submissions for entry close 4pm on 25 February 2022.
To be successful, you need to stand out and create a story that is a pleasure to read. To give your entry the best chance:
- Choose the best category for your entry
- Read the ‘best of’ case studies in the category you are entering
- Read the judging criteria and pay attention to the marks awarded per section
- Join the webinar ‘PRINZ Awards – writing a winning entry’ hosted by PRINZ Awards Chief Judges, Denise Mackay and Andrew Pirie
Good luck.
We look forward to celebrating our finalists and winners at the PRINZ Awards Gala Dinner in May – details are pending but we hope to hold an in-person event capped at 100 attendees in Auckland.
There are also plenty of opportunities to invest in your professional development – check out our Course and Event Calendar… new online and in-person courses, webinars, masterclasses and events are added regularly.
Under RED, in-person events and courses will go ahead with a maximum attendance of 100 people. All attendees are required to be fully vaccinated, show a valid My Vaccine Pass and adhere to safety measures around physical distancing, good hygiene practices and contact tracing. If you are unwell, have any Covid-19 symptoms or are self-isolating, we will refund your ticket.
Don’t forget, members who engage in more than five CPD activities are recognised with ‘Silver’ membership, and in more than ten CPD activities receive ‘Gold’ membership. Register today to make sure you have the knowledge and skills needed to stay relevant and at the top of your game.
Finally, places on the 2022 Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) programme are filling quickly. If you want to know more, register for our upcoming webinar ‘APR – what is it and am I ready?’ or contact the office for more information.
Thank you for your continued support.
