In the second segment of our PRINZ Gold Award webinar series, we hear from Palmerston North City Council on their Gold award-winning campaign “Paving a new path for Palmy’s most dangerous street”.

At the 2024 PRINZ Awards Gala Dinner, Palmerston North City Council was recognised for their excellence in Public Relations and Communications in the Community Relations & Engagement category. In this webinar, they will share valuable insights about their campaign and how they went about the submission process to make sure their hard work and outreach was recognised. This series is free of charge for members and will be held online from 12pm to 1.30pm on the 21st of November.

Your presenters are:

Sam Kilmister

Sam Kilmister is the communications and engagement lead for the infrastructure unit at Palmerston North City Council. His background in journalism has been invaluable in his role at the council, particularly in managing the Featherston Street safety improvement project over the past two years.

Michael Bridge

Michael Bridge is the active transport manager at Palmerston North City Council. Michael is from Australia and has a history of leading cycling, walking, public transport and micro-mobility infrastructure and behaviour change programmes.
