State of the Sector 2026

February 26 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free – $50.00

Thursday 26th February 2025 @ 5.30pm - 7.30pm

Overview

For the third year running, we’ve teamed up with our principal partner, Isentia, to bring you the latest insights into Aotearoa’s PR landscape.

The 2025 PRINZ Member Insights Report highlighted the key challenges facing the industry: a shrinking media environment, the rapid rise of AI, ongoing economic pressure leading to job uncertainty and communications being viewed as a “nice-to-have” rather than a strategic priority. With the NZ general election date set for November 7 and audiences becoming increasingly insular, the stakes are raising even higher for PR professionals. Authentic communication and trust-building will be paramount this year.

Join us for an exclusive update on the latest industry research from Ngaire Crawford, Director of Research and Insights at Isentia. Following her presentation, a panel of industry experts will unpack the findings and explore practical ways to navigate the most pressing challenges facing PR today.

State of the Sector 2026 will be hosted at ANZ’s stunning offices. Thank you to ANZ and Isentia for generously sponsoring this event for members.

Important ticket information:

Virtual and in-person tickets are not interchangeable as there are limited numbers for the in-person event. Ticket purchasing remains the same.
