Join us for a lunch time webinar session with PRINZ member Phil Johnstone APR as he shares experiences and photos from the month he had in Romania and Ukraine with World Vision International last July.
Phil took time off from his Auckland-based role at Plant & Food Research to be the interim Comms Lead for the WVI response.
“It was a real mix of experiences, including 3am visits to a Kyiv bunker, visits to summer camps for displaced children, briefing colleagues for live TV news interviews and creating releases for advocacy policy papers.”
By way of introduction, here’s a short interview Phil did last year about the specialist training and volunteer work he has done since 2015 to create opportunities to work in development and humanitarian response settings.
