The campaign also won Gold in the Community Relations and Engagement category. In February 2022\, Sally’s contribution to the Parks Industry was recognised through receiving the Ian Galloway Memorial Cup from Recreation Aotearoa. Sally has recently moved into a new position\, Group Manager Customer and Community Services at Waipā District Council expanding her skillset to cover the Communication and Engagement and Community Advisor space. Sally’s career has been within the Parks\, Sport\, Recreation and Community Facility space\, working in senior roles at Auckland Regional Council\, Hamilton City Council\, Auckland Council and Waipā District Council. In February 2022\, Sally’s contribution to the Parks Industry was recognised through receiving the Ian Galloway Memorial Cup from Recreation Aotearoa. Sally has recently moved into a new position\, Group Manager Customer and Community Services at Waipā District Council expanding her skillset to cover the Communication and Engagement and Community Advisor space. In this role she leads the teams that manage the District’s parks and reserves\, cemeteries\, libraries\, museums\, trust management including pools and Maungatautari Ecological Island\, community connection and Communication and Engagement. Sally has a passion for providing spaces and services for the community to enjoy\, and can often be seen out running or cycling along the districts many cycle ways and parks.
