On the day consultation was due to start\, they were plunged into the country’s first lockdown. They pivoted and rolled out a plan that resulted in the most feedback ever received- all while running a civil defence response. Covid struck again for the 2021 consultation\, but again the result was an informed community who didn’t hesitate to share their thoughts and help shape Palmy’s future for generations to come. Hear from Olivia Wix how Palmerston North City Council engaged with the community to execute this very successful project Zoom links will go out closer to the date to allow for those last minute sign ups! Pease do check your spam box.  						\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Your presenter is..Liv\, the Communications Manager at Palmerston North City Council. Like many people in comms\, she spent the first half of her career in journalism before moving into comms at AUT in Auckland and then at Council in Palmy. Legal requirements meant the consultation had to go ahead regardless. Find out how Liv and her team transformed their community engagement and comms strategy\, which resulted in one of the largest amounts of community feedback ever received\, whilst also being the Public Information Managers for the city during lockdown.
