While on the executive team of global food exporter Silver Fern Farms\, he established a leading sustainability programme and ran communications for over 8 years. In that time\, Silver Fern Farms became New Zealand’s first meat company to have a verified carbon footprint with an industry-leading emissions reduction programme. He was also involved as Chair of the New Zealand branch of the Global Roundtable for sustainable beef. Justin’s expertise is in building sustainability programmes that assist in how companies communicate with their community about their relevance as well as the value and richness they add to society.

He has 20 years’ experience in sustainability\, communications\, marketing and policy roles with experience in food\, fibre\, agriculture\, pharmaceuticals\, manufacturing and the transport sector. He is the Chair of Metris\, which provides climate and weather analysis and forecasting to the horticulture and viticulture sector to assist companies as they adapt to climate. While on the executive team of global food exporter Silver Fern Farms\, he established a leading sustainability programme and ran communications for over 8 years. In that time\, Silver Fern Farms became New Zealand’s first meat company to have a verified carbon footprint with an industry-leading emissions reduction programme. He was also involved as Chair of the New Zealand branch of the Global Roundtable for sustainable beef. Justin’s expertise is in building sustainability programmes that assist in how companies communicate with their community about their relevance as well as the value and richness they add to society.
