The Insights & Research division is responsible for producing bespoke media\, communications\, reputation and audience research for a wide range of clients from large corporates\, government departments to small NGOs. His experience spans the breadth of the public relations discipline – from corporate communications\, issues management\, and media engagement\, to internal communications and marketing comms. His work has been recognised by the Public Relations Institute\, with an Effie from the Commercial Communications Council\, and with a Cannes Lion at the International Festival of Creativity. A previous PR person of the Year\, Brad has worked in-house with Vodafone’s corporate affairs team and held senior agency roles in New Zealand and England. He spent (nearly) a year through COVID-19 running his own PR firm and was appointed managing director of Porter Novelli in 2021 – the youngest leader in the agency’s 45-year history. Today\, Brad is a company director and partner in the newly merged GRC Partners + Porter Novelli. He leads the firm’s cyber communications practice and is activity involved with the PRINZ northern committee.      						\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																										\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Peter Parussini Peter is responsible for leading external and internal communications\, customer complaints\, corporate social responsibility\, government relations and corporate sponsorships for ANZ Bank in New Zealand and the Pacific. He sits on the company’s New Zealand Leadership Team. Peter was part of the core team for the sale of ANZ’s Asia Retail and Wealth businesses in Singapore\, Indonesia\, Hong Kong\, Taiwan\, China and Vietnam in 2016-17. He was also one of the project leads for the merger of The National Bank and ANZ\, New Zealand’s biggest brand change project\, in 2012. Peter has more than 30 years of experience in the communications and marketing industries\, spanning journalism\, sports marketing\, university lecturing\, education\, sponsorships\, branding\, broadcasting\, politics and international affairs.   						\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																										\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Philip Clark Philip leads the corporate communications team at Meridian Energy\, responsible for all external communications\, including strategy\, media\, issues and communications to support the company’s development and construction projects. During this time he initiated and led a major study of gender balance in sports news coverage\, undertaking extensive stakeholder engagement with media\, sports and others to help drive positive change. The Insights & Research division is responsible for producing bespoke media\, communications\, reputation and audience research for a wide range of clients from large corporates\, government departments to small NGOs. His work has been recognised by the Public Relations Institute\, with an Effie from the Commercial Communications Council\, and with a Cannes Lion at the International Festival of Creativity. A previous PR person of the Year\, Brad has worked in-house with Vodafone’s corporate affairs team and held senior agency roles in New Zealand and England. He spent (nearly) a year through COVID-19 running his own PR firm and was appointed managing director of Porter Novelli in 2021 – the youngest leader in the agency’s 45-year history. Today\, Brad is a company director and partner in the newly merged GRC Partners + Porter Novelli. Peter was part of the core team for the sale of ANZ’s Asia Retail and Wealth businesses in Singapore\, Indonesia\, Hong Kong\, Taiwan\, China and Vietnam in 2016-17. He was also one of the project leads for the merger of The National Bank and ANZ\, New Zealand’s biggest brand change project\, in 2012. The Insights & Research division is responsible for producing bespoke media\, communications\, reputation and audience research for a wide range of clients from large corporates\, government departments to small NGOs. His experience spans the breadth of the public relations discipline – from corporate communications\, issues management\, and media engagement\, to internal communications and marketing comms. His work has been recognised by the Public Relations Institute\, with an Effie from the Commercial Communications Council\, and with a Cannes Lion at the International Festival of Creativity. A previous PR person of the Year\, Brad has worked in-house with Vodafone’s corporate affairs team and held senior agency roles in New Zealand and England. He spent (nearly) a year through COVID-19 running his own PR firm and was appointed managing director of Porter Novelli in 2021 – the youngest leader in the agency’s 45-year history. Today\, Brad is a company director and partner in the newly merged GRC Partners + Porter Novelli. He leads the firm’s cyber communications practice and is activity involved with the PRINZ northern committee.      						\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																										\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Peter Parussini Peter is responsible for leading external and internal communications\, customer complaints\, corporate social responsibility\, government relations and corporate sponsorships for ANZ Bank in New Zealand and the Pacific. He sits on the company’s New Zealand Leadership Team. Peter was part of the core team for the sale of ANZ’s Asia Retail and Wealth businesses in Singapore\, Indonesia\, Hong Kong\, Taiwan\, China and Vietnam in 2016-17. He was also one of the project leads for the merger of The National Bank and ANZ\, New Zealand’s biggest brand change project\, in 2012. Peter has more than 30 years of experience in the communications and marketing industries\, spanning journalism\, sports marketing\, university lecturing\, education\, sponsorships\, branding\, broadcasting\, politics and international affairs.   						\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																										\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Philip Clark Philip leads the corporate communications team at Meridian Energy\, responsible for all external communications\, including strategy\, media\, issues and communications to support the company’s development and construction projects. The team also leads internal communications and partners with Marketing on social media.   Philip joined Meridian in January 2023 from Sport NZ\, where he worked across both Sport NZ and High Performance Sport NZ over a seven year stint. During this time he initiated and led a major study of gender balance in sports news coverage\, undertaking extensive stakeholder engagement with media\, sports and others to help drive positive change. He has more than 25 years experience in communications\, both in-house and agency side\, working with leading companies in New Zealand\, Australia and the UK.

The Insights & Research division is responsible for producing bespoke media\, communications\, reputation and audience research for a wide range of clients from large corporates\, government departments to small NGOs. She also leads global product development for PR and Communications across the Access Intelligence global research teams.   She has more than 15 years in the field of communications and media research with a particular focus on the role of representation\, and is a passionate advocate for research\, and that the right data (and good communications) can change the world!    						\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																										\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Heather Claycomb Heather Claycomb founded HMC in May 2004 driven by her passion to tell a great story and support Waikato businesses in making a difference.  In 2019\, her business evolved into a social enterprise which now donates its profits to her family charity\, All Good Ventures. Passionate about the PR industry\, Heather has been involved in the PR Institute of NZ (PRINZ) in a regional leadership and governance capacity since 2013.  She was elected to the position of Board Chair in May 2022. Heather’s unique background in communications\, marketing\, sales and public relations across a broad range of industries have given her a strong foothold to run HMC . Her MBA education coupled with an expertise in corporate communications\, allows Heather to bring a unique perspective to her clients with the ability to approach communications issues from a strategic business perspective. 						\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																										\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Brad Pogson A passionate advocate for the role of PR\, Brad has enjoyed working in the industry for the past 13 years. During this time\, he has developed and led corporate reputation programmes for some of the world’s most recognised brands across a variety of sectors. His experience spans the breadth of the public relations discipline – from corporate communications\, issues management\, and media engagement\, to internal communications and marketing comms. His work has been recognised by the Public Relations Institute\, with an Effie from the Commercial Communications Council\, and with a Cannes Lion at the International Festival of Creativity. A previous PR person of the Year\, Brad has worked in-house with Vodafone’s corporate affairs team and held senior agency roles in New Zealand and England. He spent (nearly) a year through COVID-19 running his own PR firm and was appointed managing director of Porter Novelli in 2021 – the youngest leader in the agency’s 45-year history. Today\, Brad is a company director and partner in the newly merged GRC Partners + Porter Novelli. He leads the firm’s cyber communications practice and is activity involved with the PRINZ northern committee.      						\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																										\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Peter Parussini Peter is responsible for leading external and internal communications\, customer complaints\, corporate social responsibility\, government relations and corporate sponsorships for ANZ Bank in New Zealand and the Pacific. He sits on the company’s New Zealand Leadership Team. Peter was part of the core team for the sale of ANZ’s Asia Retail and Wealth businesses in Singapore\, Indonesia\, Hong Kong\, Taiwan\, China and Vietnam in 2016-17. He was also one of the project leads for the merger of The National Bank and ANZ\, New Zealand’s biggest brand change project\, in 2012. Peter has more than 30 years of experience in the communications and marketing industries\, spanning journalism\, sports marketing\, university lecturing\, education\, sponsorships\, branding\, broadcasting\, politics and international affairs.   						\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																										\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Philip Clark Philip leads the corporate communications team at Meridian Energy\, responsible for all external communications\, including strategy\, media\, issues and communications to support the company’s development and construction projects. The team also leads internal communications and partners with Marketing on social media.   Philip joined Meridian in January 2023 from Sport NZ\, where he worked across both Sport NZ and High Performance Sport NZ over a seven year stint. During this time he initiated and led a major study of gender balance in sports news coverage\, undertaking extensive stakeholder engagement with media\, sports and others to help drive positive change. He has more than 25 years experience in communications\, both in-house and agency side\, working with leading companies in New Zealand\, Australia and the UK.
