SUMMARY:How to be an Influencer within your Organisation - An Online Workshop with Tracey Bridges
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 21st & Thursday 23rd May 9am-12noon						\n					\n				\n				\n			\n			\n		\n				\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n				\n							OverviewCommunications strategy specialist Tracey Bridges takes practitioners beyond the strategy template and into the problem solving techniques that lie behind it. Participants will have the opportunity to explore different problem solving methods and how they work in the context of communications strategies\, and test them on live problems. Who should attend? Practitioners who want to go beyond everyday communication plans\, to creating strategies that can transform; and genuinely solve problems organisations face. The course will also be good for people working in communications who face internal pressure to achieve a lot on very little resource; or who are grappling with multiple demands. Key learnings  Problem solving and strategy theory and practice Using strategy to resolve competing demands and make best use of limited resource   Note that this course is 2 morning sessions (Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd) and all course costs are inclusive of GST 						\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Your presenter is..Tracey Bridges\, FPRINZ Tracey Bridges is a leading practitioner in the areas of strategic communications\, behaviour change and issues management. A PRINZ Fellow\, she has worked on projects involving public\, private and not for profit organisations. She is an experienced facilitator\, and provides professional development and mentoring for communications teams\, management teams and boards.  Tracey had a twenty year career in communication consulting\, including as a founding partner of trans-Tasman communications consultancy SenateSHJ\, following stints as a press secretary and journalist. These days\, Tracey is a professional director\, serving as Chair of Education New Zealand and the Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency\, and a Trustee for Whānau Āwhina Plunket\, the Wellington Regional Stadium Trust\, WELLfed Charitable Trust and the Digital Media Trust. She is also a Director and co-Founder of The Good Registry\, a social enterprise helping people translate their gift spending into donations to good causes.
