Blackland PR worked with the region’s sporting codes and schools to form a collective campaign that requested Councils review and lower their costs to make playing sport affordable. Through sustained media pressure centred on the 2023 local government elections\, the campaign ultimately won a region-wide independent review into Council sports fees. About Fiann and Blackland PR:                                                                                                                                                                  Fiann’s media smarts and inventive communications style were first noticed by Blackland’s Directors when he interned during his third year of university\, and he was offered a full-time role immediately upon graduating. Since then\, he has earned respect from his clients for cunning public affairs strategies and winning media campaigns\, and now manages key accounts for the business. Blackland PR is a boutique PR consultancy in Wellington that specialises in government and public relations on challenging issues – and has earned a reputation for successful campaigns assisting local community groups. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Lizi Guest\, Little & Loud\, Gold Award in PR Consultancy – Small to Medium of the Year \nAbout Lizi:                                                                                     Based in Palmerston North\, Lizi Guest is the founder of PR agency Little & Loud\, which has just been recognised as the top small-medium PR consultancy in New Zealand\, and shortlisted for the national Best Place to Work Awards.
