It demystifies the speechwriting process\, including the crucial planning phase when writing speeches for others\, and encourages purposeful\, effective storytelling. This workshop has been designed for professionals from all sectors who seek to be more effective communicators and storytellers\, and incorporates writing and editing exercises.  No prior speechwriting experience is required. Here’s what you’ll learn… Module 1: Key speech types The speechwriting process – timeframes and responsibilities The anatomy of a successful speech – timing and structureModule wrap and take home exercise Module 2: Voice\, tone\, and readabilityIncorporating wit\, humour\, and anecdotesLearning from exemplar speechwriters\, and speechmakersSeeking feedback Tying it all together to plan your next great speech Zoom links will be sent out closer to the date. 						\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Meet the facilitator Cameron Pegg is a leading content strategist who is a passionate advocate for better corporate storytelling. As a journalist\, he writes features for The Australian and The Saturday Paper\, and previously hosted a regular segment on ABC Radio. Cameron has created a suite of content and writing courses for the Queensland University of Technology Executive Education program\, and is a founding editorial board member of the Journal of Education Advancement and Marketing (UK).
