I’m Amanda. A storyteller with a passion for helping businesses share their stories.

​​​For more than a decade, I’ve been growing businesses, brands and reputations through strategic PR, communications and marketing. I left the corporate world behind to start Publicity Studio, a creative media outreach and PR education consultancy; providing strategic, transparent and practical communications solutions to today’s Kiwi businesses.

​In today’s market – PR needs to be accessible, transparent and a little bit clever. I’ve dropped the outdated retainer style service model and instead focused on targeted and affordable PR packages coupled with PR workshops, mentoring and products – allowing all businesses at any end of the spectrum, to gain access to professional PR services and become equipped and empowered to steer their own PR ship.

​I’ve previously worked in senior positions across the public and private sector and my experience includes projects with some of New Zealand’s higher profile companies, including New Zealand Post, Federated Farmers, Contact Energy and The Department of Internal Affairs.

​My degree in Communications, Post- Graduate Diploma in Business, and expertise in corporate communications, means I have the ability to approach communications issues from a strategic business perspective and give my clients reputations a serious edge in a competitive industry.

​I appreciate that small businesses don’t always have huge budgets to throw at marketing – but what they do have is an incredible opportunity for PR. They’re creative, hardworking and full of wonderful stories – which really is a PR dream.
